Michael has been fishing since 5 years of age; mainly land based saltwater beach and estuary. He was introduced to soft plastic lures in 2006 at the age of 15 years, and since then has not looked back at anything else. From the time he hooked his first bream Michael has studied the art to plastic lure fishing, spending hours on the famous Parramatta River in Sydney.

Michael decided to put his skills to the test by participating in competitions such as the Pro Bream Series, and ABT Bream events, achieving some results that he has been rapped with. By participating in these events he gained much valuable experience and skills fishing with many professional tournament anglers.
